I just finished setting up a server to run a python pyramid application, and while I did not find any guidance on the Internet that helped me, I feel like I could contribute one myself.

I'm considering posting all of the commands that I used, in order, on my blog (with passwords removed, of course).

However, this will result in me sharing my directory structure, deployment script, user list, IP tables config, and other things which occur to me could be advantageous to a hacker.

It's obvious that it's better for me not to share this information, but I'm not convinced that I have a realistic idea of the security risks involved. What are the security risks and how serious are they?
