I have a built a website with a few pages (home, about, blog) using angularjs and ui-router.

Reading around the internet the consensus seems to be that google bot supports JS in all its glory (eg here). Therefore, I dynamically set the meta descriptions and title tags when routing to these pages in the site; however I still keep getting "Duplicate meta descriptions" and "Duplicate title tags" in the google search console (but not for all my pages...)

Am I misinformed? is google-bot getting confused with my dynamic meta and title tags? Can someone with knowledge please provide an answer that is relevant in 2018?
