Are there any tips for making sure my landing page URLs and my web application's public URLs are treated as related by search engines?

E.g: example.com https://example.com/pricing example.com/blog/the-amazing-post-title https://example.com/guides/getting-started app.example.com/login https://app.example.com/signup

I haven't set anything up yet, but as I understand it, search engines normally consider each domain and any subdomains as separate domains/sites (as you'd expect). Any help would be much appreciated.
