: Why would GTMetrix and Check GZip Compression show different outcomes? I have Gzipped a website, via the .htaccess method. According to Check GZip Compression, this was successfully implemented.

I have Gzipped a website, via the .htaccess method. According to Check GZip Compression, this was successfully implemented. I then did a check on GT Metrix, and the results state that the website has not been Gzipped Compressed.

How can this be? Could it be that GT Metrix Caching previous results or maybe does not recognise the .htacess method?
