Does anyone have an idea of how to do this: Corel Draw Clone Tool YouTube Demo
in Inkscape? I'm very familiar with Corel Draw and Adobe Creative Suite, but at my new job they are cheap and I'm stuck with Inkscape.

I've been trying to figure it out for a while now and can't find any documentation on a tool similar to this.

: Fonts not exporting correctly InDesign When I export to PDF from InDesign, the text appear thick & clumpsy in the resulting file. They look correct in InDesign, they look correct if I print

: Circles importing as crossed boxes into Adobe Illustrator I am reading into Illustrator a PDF output from R (grid graphics I believe) in which the circles show as boxes with crosses inside them.

To create a "clone" of an object, i.e. an object linked to the original in Inkscape:

Select the object
Clone the object Alt + D (or menu Edit - Clone - Create clone)

Choose to Create Tiled Clones... for any number of tiled clones.

Additional note: The clone tool from Inkscape is capable to also clone embedded bitmap images.

(Example of tiled clones with lineart and embbedded bitmaps)
