Problem 1. Sizes is there an easy way to know sizes of all element i wish to know of. What i do is select, click to edit than the size appears in info panel, memorize it.

Problem 2. Extracting is there a way to save only the selection and not have to crop the whole thing first than save as. I know i could use slices. But i can't figure out how to do slices with transparencies. Select slice and group.

Problem 3. Offsets easier way to know how much distance is between this box and this text. Right now i make a line with a ruler. but When i click for a different line it disappears. So i have to memorize or write down while doing it. Very inconvenient.

Problem 4. Gradients basically when it comes to gradients and i wish to convert them to css gradients i need to do autopsy of everything. Simpler solution is to do gradients if they are the only thing. But if it's like noise layer with something else than just take the whole thing as jpg. Could there a be a plugin that generates css gradients from photoshop gradients.

So basically i am asking for better ways to do things for all of these or some of these. Either using plugins, scripts, other programs or some tips.

1 - hide everything besides the thing, ctrl a, edit > copy merged, file new, see the dimensions

2 - ?

3 - marquee tool, click and drag area, edit copy merged, file new, see the dimensions

4 - css gradient support is kind of wacky, using jpgs is a pretty safe bet, if there is noise or effects within the gradient you will not be able to use css3 gradients
