I have a big PSD file with many slices, and I would like to have all those slices in new separate PSD files.

Is there a way to export a slice to a PSD ? And automate this action using a script/action ?

: Path around bitmap image's visible part? I found this tool a while back but can't seem to remember how it's done. Basically, I remember there being a tool in Inkscape where you select a bitmap

Make a selection & convert it to a smart object (all of the selection will be converted to a smart object), then right click on the smart object to export its content. You are done.

Open the "Save For Web" dialogue by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S. In left panel you'll see the Slice Select Tool. Select and save it, they will be saved in a folder named images.
