: Single page PDF shows more artboards in AI I have Illustrator CC and my document has 4 artboards. I click on Save As and select PDF as the format and Range: 4. The result is as expected

I have Illustrator CC and my document has 4 artboards. I click on Save As and select PDF as the format and Range: 4. The result is as expected the artboard 4 in the generated pdf.

But If I open that pdf back with illustrator, it displays all of the artboards. Which means it's somewhere saving all the artboards in the pdf but showing just one. I want to send the pdf to the printers but don't wanna share the rest of the artworks.

Why is illustrator exporting all the artboards here?
