I have our logo in Photoshop, fully vectored, that I want to export to smaller web-ready images.
My problem is I want to export parts of the logo, for example the logo contains everything available to the logo, there's a and a .co.uk around it that is sometimes, but more often than not required. There's fire (it doesn't look as cheesy as it sounds) which only applies to parts of our website. Again this makes the canvas bigger.
What I'd like to do is export a region at a certain size. Slices sound perfect, however I need to export the images at specific sizes, and when exporting to web and selecting a slice and a size - it resizes the entire image and gives me the slice a s a smaller part, thus I can't specify the output size.
I can't copy and paste to a new document as it won't copy everything without rasterizing it, which kinda defeats the point of having it vectored.
I could resize the canvas except I can't see a way to resize to a selection, and guessing the areas or writing them down on paper seems long-winded.
There must be a way of saying I want this bit at this size?
