Im in the process of design a logo for a project I'm working on, but I'm not a brand designer/specialist, I'm just a webdesigner. I'm in trouble when trying to define the color scheme along with the design itself.

The pourpose is to have a website where you can search for products and find the best prices. The first options I've created have different designs because I'm not quite sure which one can have a better representation of the pupouse. See the image below:





I've created some variations of the color (using gradient [1º and 2º] or distincts tones of the blue[3º]). But it's not convincing me.

The one I liked the most can be seen on the image below, specially the first one:



But I'm not sure. Also, does the type needs to follow the same color scheme? Or can it be different, such as gray tone[1º and 2º] or two colors[3º]?

Or what other cosiderations should i have in this scenario? Any feedback on the logo?
