I have 14 display ad PSD files. Each file has approximately 15 design solutions (layers), divided into 3 style types. Each of these layers needs to be saved out 5 times for different language versions.

I need a quick way to batch save out the layers (but only specific layers) not all. Currently I go through this process:
1. Turn on the layers I need (depending on language and style)
2. shift-alt-cmd to save for web
3. Save file e.g. Occasion_300_250_inline_rectangle_A_FR.jpg I change the file name from A to B, B to C etc..
4. Repeat.

I would use Data merge Option in Photoshop. I understand that you already did the job of creating extra layers but for the speed sake it would be faster to put the names in the separate file.

I think you can set existing layers as data sets and then use batch to export them.

This got a bit long for a comment. It may be a bit half assed answer, but:

The thing that comes to mind right now is using the PS CC asset generator, 3rd party extension, application or a script.

So what you do is give the different inline rectangles their own language specific layer names: inline_rectangle_A_FR.jpg, inline_rectangle_A_EN.jpg. and then just generate the assets. If you don't have PS CC or you're not using a mac, there are many scripts and extensions for CS6 and lower, but I can't recommend any.

Note that not all extensions or scripts look for layer names with the file extension. Some of them require you to select the layers you wish to export.

Example with Slicy:

Note that Slicy and the built in asset generator in PS CC are probably the best two out there, because they have auto save feature. So every time you save the .psd document, they output the files. So if you make changes, you don't have to keep pressing "export files" or anything.

Another thought I had was using variables and a script that basically does the same thing, goes through every data set and then looks for layers to export. That would make the languages easier to manage in PS, but that idea probably falls apart when the inline-rectangle has to be different size to fit more text. That's also why I didn't make every single one of those rectangles into a smart object.
