When creating labels, banners, logos etc(take label for instance), we usually use vector graphics because of one main reason to use vector is resolution independent, but vector illustration are not used to produce realistic objects.

So, what if you want to create a label that consisted of a realistic picture of a bread. Does one insert the picture of bread after he renders out the Vector image? How's it done?
