: I am trying to cut the background out of a gif, but, even with RGB mode on, it still won't let me do so. How do I get pass this? I have been trying to separate the frames of this gif
I have been trying to separate the frames of this gif from its background. At first, I tried using the paths tool to achieve this, and it did work on the first two frames. However, as I went on to the other frames, I stopped being able to delete the background. I am able to select it, but deleting it is a no-go. It should be stated that, in the beginning, I wasn't able to delete the background in any of the slides at all until I changed the mode to RGB (that was why I was able to delete the backgrounds in 2 out of the 19 frames). It should also be stated that the background is not a single color but an actual mixture of colors, some of bleed into the character art. So if I was to select the color select tool on a color within the background and delete it, then some small specks of the character art will be deleted too.
What is the process that I need to take in order to remove the backgrounds from the multiple frames within this gif, knowing that I have activated RGB mode? What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks for the help, in advance.
