: Can I still get a graphic design job? Graduated 3 years ago with a BFA in Graphic Design I have been looking for work in my field of study for 3 years now and have been re-making my portfolio
I have been looking for work in my field of study for 3 years now and have been re-making my portfolio & resume during the last year since I was not getting hired. I have done a couple of non-profit logo designing projects, but will admit have gotten a little rusty from what I have learned in school.
Would it be better to go back to school for graphic design or keep pursuing an entry level job in graphic design? Is it still possible for me to get a job in graphic design?

Yes you can. But if you've really been looking for three years, then you should maybe accept something is very wrong.
Seeing how our industry is much more oriented towards portfolio quality than qualifications, I think its extremely unlikely your education is preventing you finding work. Indeed I know many graphic designers with no formal training at all that have no trouble getting work.
Principally your ability to find work should revolve around the quality of your portfolio, but of course that's not the whole story, and networking, interview skills, general interpersonal skills and more will be a factor.
I don't want to sound tough, but if you've been looking (really looking) for three years and have yet to breakthrough you should definitely consider another industry rather than going back to school. Not all the things you need can be taught in a classroom I'm afraid.
