"Readable" is subjective, and depends largely on the available equipment of your target market
"Usable" is dependent on the OS and browser in use by your target market
"Authority" is... wait, what? ;)

My suggestion: consider the fonts most readily available to the majority of operating systems, and the majority of browsers, and ensure your CSS/HTML allows for them, in order of preference. Design around that.
