So I copy-pasted an illustration from a PSD that contained it as a smart object. However, after doing so the illustration has received some strange uneditable black triangles and shapes. I am unable to select these shapes using the direct selection tool with all the layers unlocked, see screenshot below. Any ideas what this may be ?

Update: in outline mode I saw two one pixel dots that were causing this. Does anyone have any idea why this would have been added when copy& pasting from a smart object?
