So I'm currently dealing with some high res textures for celestial bodies that I need to stitch together. The problem is, they're in parts because of the overall size meaning I'll have to manually place over 1,000 images next to one another to build the overall texture.

I can't use the photomerge tool as it's not reliable enough and was wondering if there's a script or something that, when dragging in a selection of files, they can automatically be placed below one another.

For example, the texture is 31 images vertical and 62 horizontal. If I drag in one set of 31, I'd like for the second image to import directly below the previously imported one, the 3rd below the 2nd, the 4th below the 3rd and vise versa. I really do hope something like this or similar exists otherwise I'm going to be suffering from carpel tunnel!

Thanks for your help, anything to ease this process would be a joy!
